I am starting a new photos thread. Here are the rules:

1.) All photos must be real. No Worth 1000 contest photos, ads, or other altered photos allowed.

2.) No joke photos.

3.) Photos must be accompanied with an appropriate description if at all possible.

4.) All photos must definitely fall under the title description. (exception: reference photos)

Now that's what I call a little too close for comfort.













Whales have an unusual skill. It is called "spyhopping". It is where the whale sticks its head out of the water and basically treads water so that it can watch objects, including prey items, that it can not see well under water. Here is a quick photo for reference.


The is also one type of fish that can spyhop as well.

Guess which one.
