Ultimate doom floppy disks fix?
Could I get some help restoring my ultimate doom floppy disks?
I need the original boot sector, file dates and MD-5 checksum of unmodified disks. Make some uncompressed floppy disk images and get a hex editor. boot sector start-offset: 00000000 end-offset: 000001FF length: 000001EF Select block, copy and go to new then paste and save as disk1boot.bin I don't know if all 5 disks boot sectors are different. file dates disk1 start-offset: 00002600 end-offset: 0000269F length: 000000A0 disk2-5 start-offset: 00002600 end-offset: 0000263F length: 00000040 Select block, copy and go to new then paste and save as fd1.bin All 5 of my disks work but the boot sectors were altered by a copy program before I got them. Also I could help fix BAHIIWV floppy disks. |

If I could find my floopies I'd help you out.
I still have my old doom2 installed in its original directory though on cd backup heh. You might have better luck at doomworld with this. |
