But the story ended already! I can only anticipate that this will be nowhere near as good as the original game was. They're just milking the cow.

Milking the cow for who? The game wasn't a huge hit. Game was great but not too popular.

Well, Fallout and Fallout 2 didn't do that well even though they're widely considered one of the best CRPG series around. Sales doesn't necessarily reflect quality.

I'd rather see the Alice movie see the light of day, frankly. But as long as the platforming isn't as buggy and frustrating as the first game, this should be pretty good.

I absolutely adored Alice, and it was one of the first games that both my wife and I played concurrently. I was so excited for Grimm and Oz, but Grimm turned into crap, and Oz hasn't seen the light of day.

Anyway, if this is anywhere near as good as the f'ed up dreams I was having while playing the first, then it will be decent.

EA has implied (I don't remember where) that they were going to have do an Alice remake released parallel to the movie, so that might be what this is. I'm still not sure if that movie's ever going to get anywhere though.

I'm interested in who they'll be hiring to do the soundtrack. Chris Vrenna's original score was one of the best I've ever heard in a video game, but I'd also heard that Marilyn Manson was originally going to do it. It's rare for a company to hire the same composer twice, so I wonder who'll get the job.

Considering that Manson is doing that Phantasmagoria movie, I doubt he'll have anything to do with it.

Alice? beautiful, a work of art but I never got very far with it. I blame my own limited game skills.

Don't blame yourself. The controls are infernal during some parts.

You can find it for extremely low prices, probably in some bargain bins.

EDIT: Wow, you might be able to find it in a brick and mortar store, but online they're selling for like $50 o_0 http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw...ix=american+mc

That's still too much, go for a bargain bin. I know for a fact that you can get it for around $10.
