Obama -NOT- First on Tonight Show

How the Libral Media forgets.....

Actually, the first sitting president to be on The Tonight Show was Ronald Reagan. NOT Obama like you're hearing.

I know this for a fact, because I watched him in the mid to late '80's making appearances with Johnny Carson as host.

Now, if they're referring only to the Jay Leno era, then the media is right, but in the entire show's histroy, el-wrongo.

Who cares? Honestly, how can you honestly sit down and type threads like this and think that anyone here would give a shit about it? I mean, I'm sure someone somewhere would, but take a moment to think about the audience here. If you don't think we're interested, we probably aren't.

I'm not just being an asshole, I promise. I frankly and earnestly have no idea how you can think anyone here would care.

But anyway, what I wonder is why no one tried this sooner. Then Religion and Politics would have no LeRO threads. Then again, that'd mean that R&P would have no threads at all, and I have to admit, ReOL threads are highly amusing. Especially the ones calling Obama a nazi. :-)

According to IMDB, you are wrong. He was on the show with Johnny Carson--three times--but never during his presidency.

He appeared in 1970 and 1972, and then in 1992. Last I checked his administration was '81 to '89, so not even close.
