Xbox 360 controller support

I've got the 1.9.0 beta 5.1, I've got the movement right, I got the aiming right, Now here is where I run into trouble, I want to set it up the way the Doom was for the X360's XBLA release, this would be Run on the back left trigger (LT) and Fire on the back right trigger (RT), the Microsoft windows Xbox 360 controller driver is installed, and works correctly. I know I might be able to use another Driver for the controller but this causes OTHER issues with other games, and is not desireable, the MS drivers calls the back triggers Z-Axis (prolly +/-)

anything that can be done?

You won't need either of those once 1.9.0-beta6 is released as it allows any controller axis to be bound to any control, impulse or console command

One of the many reasons i can't wait for beta 6. But if you want one with tons of features and is free then use xpadder. Just look it up on google because the the project has ended and the official site no longer exists as of recently.

When I saw this topic, I was going to say I use it but then I saw your post. You can use this for any game that doesn't have joystick support and I also use it for Doom 3.
