Teaching people how to cheat. Modifying the mass of the player object, maybe.

Then no idea of what´s happening... Maybe you modified something you shouldn´t and the erratic behavior is generated in Doom. Try some source ports, try playing in "Hurt me plenty" or "I am too young to die" or something... No clue.

Er. Doom has been out for well over ten years now. I'm sure by now if no one knows the cheats, they deserve to get their ass kicked in-game.

Go figure it out how Doom worked back then with these flags (??)... Are you using regular doom.exe or windoom??. I am sure Grazza could get interesting lectures about this.

Consider what you say. You come asking questions about your problems with dehacked. If you want your answers you'd better ask for them nicely and take advices and lectures given from people more experienced with the Doom engine.

Indeed. Now for a bit more of ideas, WinDoom95 is a bit obsolete by now. I think it retains the original behaviour and that included many odd things and glitches plus what may happen with new systems. I suggest you to get a hold of a source port so you can play in newer systems and enjoy new possibilities in both editing and playing.
In case you don't know what a source port is let's say that they're like "Doom enhanced". There are many ports out there and all are independent from each other. Some focus on new gameplay possibilities, some in network gaming, some in graphical enhancements and some others in just a classic experience in a newer system. None of these ports (that I know of) are "official" or affiliated with the original Doom: rather, they are made by independent people that grabbed Doom code and worked over it. Some ports for you to try: Chocolate Doom: The classic Doom experience. Nothing new, nothing less. PrBoom: Port done over "Boom", a port itself. It adds new editing possibilities and removes lots of Doom bugs and limits. PrBoomPlus: Like the one above, just with more stuff on it. ZDoom: Focused in editing capabilities, think of "Hexen extended" with lots of scripts and possibilities. SkullTag: Based on ZDoom. Focused in network gameplay. You could try this one to play online. JDoom: Incredible enhanced graphics, basic Doom compatibility along with its own stuff. Legacy: Retains lots of the original Doom feel but adds editing possibilities like 3d floors and such. Also has a network option (like most ports anyway). You can find most links to them here: http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Source_ports Also, for more reading on how Doom works I suggest http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/Entryway where there's a lot of reading about Doom bugs and limitations. |

Ahhh. Ok. The wad file is not that important regarding the behavior of the game... Anyway, sometimes ZDoom doesn't behave exactly like Doom so you could try PrBoom or PrBoom plus to see if that bug replicates there.
