Well, the idea with files.dengine.net is that we'd host them ourselves provided they met certain criteria (i.e. has to be configured to work as an addon in Snowberry and doesn't require unpacking into a user's Doomsday folder)...

These are places for them to upload what they have done. So we can get the files from them and then host them on files.dengine.net once we make sure they are compatible

I have a web server (albeit slow) and I'd like to be able to help out with jDoom. I'd be willing to host people's addons, ded's and etc.

I wouldn't be able to host HUGE things like the D2RP or JDTP, but I could and would be glad to host people's ded files, new maps, all of xerxes stuff (if anyone has it), and whatever other mods aren't too huge.

Let me know if you're interested. I know I am.
