Rip "Commander Keen" off of our ranks!!! Commander Keen is stupidest kid!

"Former Human" to "The Cyberdemon"or "The DOOMGUY" ranks. That's better than stupidest Commander Keen...

It's not a rank. New Doom doesn't have ranks anymore. It's your title until you are here for 60 days and have 300 posts. At that point you can come up with your own title.

I've never understood the practice of only allowing people to have custom titles after posting so much. It always just ends up with people spamming to get their titles. I find it better to just allow it from the beginning.

I never understood people who bitch about how they can't have a custom title yet or how they don't like the name of the low rank on a forum with ranks. Get over it. When we join new forums we have the same stuff.

It's as bad as that lady who calle me on Monday whining that the letters wore off her keyboard. She actually said it was "disconcerting." Well, if the letters wearing off your keyboard can cause you that much emotional trauma you'd better go live in a bubble.

I had a shareware copy of Keen and no gamepad. I have one of those MS gamepads though. I've used it twice but my bro likes it.

Oh yeah. I think there was some problem with that when Phoebs upgraded the forum software from vB 2 to vB 3 or something like that. You should be able to PM him and get that taken care of.

Yeah I got that problem too. PM + Pheebs = Fixed.

I'm for restricting avatars until the person has established themselves as a contributing presence. Titles not so much as the signature is available from post zero and can just be put there. And text has low overhead compared to avatars.
