Me too! Except for I STILL can't get the Ashley Carr music packs to work (even on Beta 4), even after that extensive conversation Lorcan and I had. Harry, do you use a different music pack than Ashley Carrs? If you do, do you wanna throw the name of it my way?

Thats alright.
Well, I better research the different music packs, because Ashley Carr's is wonky. But about the 5.1 problem, Ive tried alot of things and I can't find the problem. |

Beta 5.1 does indeed run but ...
... for me under Snowberry- Tools-Preferences-Quit when game launched, when selected, the frontend does quit, but the game is minimised, whether in fullscreen or windowed mode. When pressing Play the user expects to go straight to the game, not a minimised application. This has been an ongoing problem with snowberry for me. |

Same problem here. Frontend loads, but when you click PLAY it will say launching for several seconds but the game never loads.

If ever theres a release without a coinciding source snapshot, just use the svn repository. Technically, it should have less bugs, because I wail like a baby when DaniJ breaks it... |

I've just tried installing the released 1.9.0-beta5.1 packages in both "upgrade" (install over existing beta5) and installing fresh under Win32 and each time I had no problems (regardless of the setting of "Quit when launched").
Obviously we'll have to investigate further. What OS are the people who are having problems running? |

@Dani J666 - When "Quit when Launched" is selected, should the game automatically be minimised to the toolbar? , since that is what happens for me, then I have to click the minimised game in the toolbar to bring the game up up either in windowed or full screen mode to play. I use WinXP Pro SR2. |

I am running WinXP
It's like Jdoom simply wont start up at all. I even have tried several times going back to 5.0 and 5.0 works. I hope you can figure it out. |
