dark colours
  is there anything I can do to fix the dark colours? My OS is windows xp, graphics card Rage 128 PRO Ultra GL AGP using Doomsday engine Version 1.8.6 |

Go into the Doomsday control panel and adjust things like brightness/contrast/gamma/ambient light level etc.
