Sounds an interesting project, Dutchy. I can't imagine what kind of levels the cyberdemon or arch vile only levels are.

That heretic screenshot also seems rather nice. Especially with jdoom.
I'm downloading it right away.

Wow nice!!, which texture recource wad are you using, I like those textures ive never seen them before.

this is for r3d , the textures are the hires ones off of the r3d site, and the few that arent (glass texture, ducting, support type stuff) are converted and resized from UT thanks to sitters for that inspiration to go through that hassle lol

Left screen is a screen from my black and red map and the other two ive just started working on a few hours ago.
Its supposed to be an sewer like level, dunno if I continue my work on that one though.

Nice shots Dutch and iddqd.

Stalking Evil. A small Legacy project of 10 -12 maps. A lot of this is very unfinished. The dual bridge is mostly finished but the surrounding area needs a lot of work. Tons of 3d floors will be used in this (bookcases, shelves, tables, chairs, fireplaces, bridges, broken floors, gates, grates, beds, etc...) I'm using a highly tweaked version of my Blood Pentagram level as the entry map (see the 2nd screenie). The map with the black textures is Sign Of The Cross, the one with the red building is The 'O' Of Corruption and the bridge map is untitled.

I know this isn't classic Doom, but theres not enough of a Doom 3 editing community here to make a "Post Your Map Screens!" in the Doom 3 forum

Thanks a lot Dutch. Watch out for the Ghost Imps. The map is for legacy but runs fine in GZDoom as well and the Imps look way better in GZDoom and not so invisible like they are in Legacy. In the new version I added supports to the Pentagram and extended the area past the exit switch.

That second screenshot of Doom Dude's reminds me of Thief 2.

Man, I'm really loving that first screenshot of Dutch's. I'm definitely looking forward to both that map and Stalking Evil.

Just played it its looking sweet, nicely done ive played it with legacy though so im going to play it again with Gzdoom.
Ive got to try to make an map with those 3d floors someday, you can do some great stuff with it, I like what you did with that giant pentagram.
Ah yes those ghost imps are deadly, first time it scared me a bit cause I didn't noticed them soon enough and kinda bumped into them.
Those black demons where nice too they will look nice in my black and red map, along with the blood demon from the mrw

Thanks Nuxius for liking my black/red map its coming along nicely, I hope you like decorate monsters though.

Glad you liked it. You can credit Looney for the Black demons. Just rip em out of my wad if you want. I think I'll just use the Ghost Imps in a few maps, otherwise they might be annoying. What does the blood demon look like? I wish I knew how to do those decorate critters..

That Blood Pentagram map was so sweet. I remember the broken floors, the corridors piercing the dark and stuff like that (the place with the fireplace and chairs...)... That said, I hate Doom_Dude and Dutch_Devil for making such cool screenies . Oh, btw, looking nice in Doom3 there, Greivous.

Finally, Doom_Dude, is there a way one can get a hold of the textures you´re using?. I liked a lot the square floors for the NDCP and I definitely dig the texture shown on the pillars for your double bridge!. That reminds me I have to downgrab the texture pack that Dutch_Devil recommended me.

Thanks a lot danimetal. Those new textures in Stalking Evil I made myself and I want to keep them to myself for now. The flats in the NDCP wad entitled <nslime> I made and the textures titled <ndcp> and <ddwal> are also mine. Use any of those you want and just give me credit.

Well then im going to use that black demon and make an decorate file for it, I will credit the author of course.
Im planning to use only decorate monsters in the hellish parts of my map, in the tech parts you will have to fight your way trough normal doom2 baddies.

The blood demon is an dark red looking demon, its health is 300 hitpoints so its twice as strong as the normal demon.
Im thinking about using the afrit as the final boss of this map.

Thank you PS. I didn't think to be getting all these good comments on Stalking. As for Vilecore 2, it will definitely get done first. I'm working on Stalking map02 right now just to have a break from Vilecore and I kinda missed playing with the 3d floors.... oooh. I did get a LOT of work done on Vilecore II since early December. I seem to be on some kind of editing crusade lately. I made those 3 insertion maps for the NDCP that I didn't have to insert. I made the larger part of map 25 for the NDCP at the last moment and I also finished that Conglom map.... Plus I started that engine level and I have 2 other insertion maps that I had started... no wonder Alio says I'm crazy.
