Multiplayer & the shareware .wad file....

Can I still play Legacy On-line with only the shareware .wad (Doom1.wad) ??? I tried and couldn't find any servers. If it's not, I'll just buy the collector's edition.

It all depends on whether anyone is hosting a server with the shareware wad - which is unlikely (same could be said for the full version too).
