New doom ads.... Ehhhh
I've noticed over time the rather fishy advertisement that constantly changes here at new doom: here were some observations:
Doom 4 Doom 4 for sale. aff Check out the deals now! Free Doom 3 for PC Fast and Easy. Why Pay? Guaranteed and Free Shipping. Doom 3 for PC 1-Day Online Promotion Get Doom 3 for Free! Now thay've been offering this "Free" doom 3 since I got here half a year ago, thats one hell of a one day online promotion, and aparantly Doom 4 is in stores now, not only that but on SALE. (Edit ![]() Some more I found!: Raver Love Raver cuties found here. Set up a free profile with pics Password Finder $39.95 Record their online activity. Track IM conversations & get passwords. My god! not only can we fall in love on some scary place but spy and steal credit card numbers with passwords too! SAVE ME... These advertisments make me come to one conclusion; THEY ARE EVIL. Thank you. Good day. Last edited by Gu-X; March 12th, 2005 at 09:44 PM. |

LOL You missed the pistol mouse for FPS games.
Yeah, Google makes a lot of money off weird ads from people with suspicious companies. Those free gift ones always make you do something annoying or sign up a whole load of people to get something. You should have seen my friend's forums. The banners were advertizing Russian brides so we went for a look-see. We found one of the cutes from LOTR! ![]() EDIT: After surfing around the boards a bit I noticed there's quite a range of things advertized: security software, programming tools, e-commerce site templates, game forums, motherboards, etc. The ads are keyword based. When I was in a tech support thread about graphics flickering I got the motherboard ad. The guy who made the thread posted a lot of specs. Google is smart.

I never really paid attention to those. I guess I'm so much used to ads that they simply go past me.
