Hello From Hell
My comp died and all I did was put a Radeon 9800 in place of a Radeon 9000. Got some kind of critical stop error BS (see Rants). I figured everybody would see the topic in Rants. heh. I'm in the midst of trying to get my comp running again... had to do a win2k reinstall. Soooo I won't be able to put the last hour of work on map01 until I have that comp sorted or be able to do any NDCP stuff. Might take me a few days to get back to normal. Just so ya'll know where I went to.

Dont fret over it DD, just take it slow and easy. Ive had a few pc disasters myself the last few days but thankfully not with my main machine.

I hate comp disasters, they suck so bad. A few months ago we had to re-install windows and start over, lost everything. Although I backed up my entire Doom directory onto 2 CDs. |

Ah! PITA. You had to remove it all I take it? When I cmae back on after we re-installed I ahd a problem with my account so I ahd to create a new one which emant I kept my old "my Documents" folder which had all my pics, desktop shortcuts and all that. Saved me a lot of trouble seeing as that stuff didn't get onto any CDs I made.
Anyway, good luck with the comp. |
