What Do These Errors Mean?
Rather than walk my brother though installing all the packs in Doomsday I took my entire Doomsday folder, burnt it to CD, and installed it on my brother's PC. This has worked before on another PC. I just had change the file permissions from Read Only so new settings could be saved.
On his system Doomsday would not start. Instead he got errors something like this... and I only took quick notes and I now can't read my writing. I hope you can figure it out whatever might be abbreviations. I have no idea how new his drivers are or what version of OpenGL or DirectX he's running. Running it in OpenGL Net.intgame GLint int. DD Graphics Library DG_initital OpenGL drOpenGl Set resolution: error fffffffe Running it in Direct 3D GL_Int Intialize DD Graphics Library Direct 3-D call to get xxxxxxxxx failed. D3 DEER_not available Failed to intialize Direct 3D |
