Vavoom for Strife

huh? I'm not sure what you mean. If you think Strife is runnin' right on ZDoom lol just try Vavoom and you'll see the difference heh (this reply was meant for the previous post...sorry)

Neither is complete and both have stuff implemented the other doesn't. Then there's SvStrife as well. They're all pretty damn good for not having the source code to Strife available. I wouldn't be surprised if all three of them reach completion of Strife support. But currently the old dos strife1.exe is only way to play the game in its entirety. Enough of the this port is a joke crap. Everyone got sick of that bullshit years ago.

Hmm well what exactly does it do when it stops or how far do you get in Strife before it bombs? I haven't had time to sit down and try and conquer the whole game yet but how far I got it worked ok and I wasn't saying ZDoom was crap it just doesn't do well with Strife is all I meant. I like all ports that can do OpenGL or Direct3D it's gotta look good or I lose interest real fast.

SvStrife will be one of the first source ports to be completed entirely, either SvStrife or Zdoom, in either ways, they are both reaching the finish line.

:(

It's possible to play Strife in Vavoom until you get to the Sewers, due to the fact that the type of doors there are unsupported in Vavoom.

Play ZDooM more often, you'll get used to it.

Vavoom sucks. Like Kaiser said SvStrife and ZDooM are the only ports making an effort to actually fully support it and give the people a much needed Strife port. Anyone who hasn't played Strife should really do so now. It's a forgotten classic. Strife seems to have grown in popularity in the past few months for some reason. ZDooM hardly had any support for it but now .64 can play the teaserand this means the full version is almost completely supported.

I need to know how to configure mouse2 to be my move forward key.
The keybinding leaves much to be desired.
