Hey thanks for reviewing it Spork! I actually noticed you reviewed it this morning when I jumped on your site and that was before I saw this thread.

Thanks Nemesis. Glad you guys like the map.

Figured since I look like Winona on here I might as well talk like her, and I'm willing to bet she has a tendency to go from perfectly calm conversation into a stream of

BIG FUCKING PROFANITIES WHICH DON'T MEAN A DAMNED THING SO SCREW OFF!!!!

At least she does that a lot in movies.

Yeah, DD, I really gotta fix the port thing. I haven't had time to mess with DooM much lately anyway though. After Tuesday I think I'll see what I can do about that. I really just wanna finish my NDCP map and play the maps you guys have released since then.

Well, JDoom crashes without warning, and Legacy won't let me save my config so I can't play in hardware above 320x200 and I have to re-bind all the controls every time.

Well, I played Blood Pentagram -- kind of. It's a damn HARD map thanks to those uber-imps and my savegames don't work. I didn't get too far with it but I liked what I saw.

Haha yeah those uber-Imps are hard. Once I finish Vilecore II (yes it will get done) I'm gonna build a Legacy wad (20 maps++) made up of smaller maps. I'll probably scale down the hardness of the Blood Pentagram map because I'll be using it as the entry in the new project. I'm calling it Hellish Symbols or something similar. The 2nd map (Sign Of The Cross) is gonna be all big black stone with lots of dark areas and crazy pillars and stuff. I got a good start on it too. I miss working with the 3d floors in Legacy. :/

Hehehe, you missed DD's mention of that up above.

Turns out if you don't specify a config file in the launcher Legacy can do weird shit. It won't use a config at all so good luck switching graphics modes or setting up controls. My savegames still don't seem to work so I'm not sure what to do about that bit.

Thats weird. I never once specified a config file in the launcher before. Maybe that's why Legacy turns my monitor into a jumble of fucked-up graphics in win2k when I change resolutions or exit the game. I doubt it tho. Seems more like the olde renderer doesn't like my new drivers. Heh
