I just want a telephone. If I wanted to send MMS, email and pictures around the world I just use my broadband connection and my keyboard at the pc. Much more comfortable, way cheaper and easier to use.

That's right. A friend of mine has a rather small Nokia (don't know which one), not even the newest and smallest. And even with that thing it is almost impossible for me to hit only 1 button!

I want to get a new phone because the one I have is a bit cumbersome in comparison but I'm still not so keen on the really dinky ones. I bet they're going to get so small you might swallow them by accident when yu're talking to somebody on it!

D2H got a new phone this weekend, because his other one broke...heh. Our wireless company gave us a $100 credit towards a new phone since we've been with them for over 2 years, which was nice.

I like it...we were looking at ringtones to download all day the day he got it. We never did download any though....heh.

We were looking up Polyphonic ringtones for it, that's about all I know. Heh! I haven't read the manual on it or anything, just that the rings sound REALLY nice on it.

The phone was just released on January 29th, so its pretty new. It's the LG VX4500.

I once spent a fortune on polyphonic ringtones

, they usually always have a mp3 preview first, but I realized what I downloaded to my phone(at a price, lol) was just a midi file, so I searched for midi databases in google and uploaded my faves to my own webspace and downloaded them through WAP on my mobile, maybe you could try the same...if it will run them.

Yeah, free would be nice! There are a lot of nice websites out there, but thats what we are afraid of...that the website has a nice sample of the song, but as soon as we download it or whatever it wont sound as good on the phone.

D2H was wondering if he could find his own midis and just make his own too...hehe. We should really read the manual. The phone can do SO much, but we have no idea all of the things. heh. Nice that you have Doom pictures too. I could see D2H putting Green Day pictures in his and also having a Green Day ring...lol.

Let me know which tune you want D2H/GoldenEyes, I've got hundreds of polyphonic tunes. Not really the most recent stuff but I've got all kinds of film/tv tunes so I can see what I've got.

Also I can convert any midi into a polyphonic ringtone so if you can get me the midi then I'll knock one up for ya.

BTW, nice phone. My one looks massive in comparison and no joking. Bu t I'm not the kind of person who treats my phone as a toy or fashion accessory like everyuone at school does. As long aas it works it's fine by me. But of course soem nice little touches and features are nice.

My Samsung phone makes these weird crackling noises whenever I call someone. I think it's about time I got a new one... Not that I use it all that often anyway...

I don't know why so many people are constantly phoning and SMSing to one and other... Won't they run out of things to say for when they actually meet each other??
