I think perhaps Baldur's Gate II. It was moving, epic, and awesome. Truly a good score. The whole Baldur's Gate series had great music, in my opinion. Somewhere on that list would be Metal Gear Solid and MGS2, as well.

Halo has some great music. And they even released a soundtrack to it. And Streets of Rage 2 for the Genesis.

Total Annihilation has great music! Nothing like a big orchestra to go with your killing robots everywhere.
Super Smash Bros. Melee has nice music too. More big orchestras. ![]() Some versions of Tetris have that catchy Russian tune. Daggerfall (Elder Scrolls II) has awesome midi music. C&C Generals has awesome music. The American tracks aren't the best ones though. I like the GLA ones and the Chinese ones. In fact all the C&C games have some neat music except Red Alert 2. I hate that game. Super Mario Bros. games have cool music. ![]() ------------------ "Once in a while a programmer really writes something he's proud of, a slick, elegant, blazingly fast routine that stands as a benchmark against which other code will be judged by. Elder Scrolls III Morrowind: has pretty good mood setting music.
Blade Of Darkness: Very atmospheric music that really makes the Fantasy setting seem more interesting. I like it so much I put some of it in Morrowind. ![]() Quake II: I like the stuff Sonic Mayhem did. It was Sonic Mayhem wasn't it? Hard to remember all this game stuff. Dissolution Of Eternity: The Quake Mission Pack II has some real cool music. ------------------ Vilecore@The Megawad The NewdooM Community Project |

Got that right. I love Jeremy Soule's music. He did Neverwinter Nights, too, as well as Dungeon Siege (a game that wasn't all that great). ------------------ "And the brave hero stood before the oncoming maelstrom of evil, his blinding sword in hand, ready to slay darkness once and for all."

Oops. Must've overlooked. I liked that guitar theme from the starting cinema. That was cool. And the Metroid tunes are awesome. Especially the ones in Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion.

I'm with Fallen Man The Baulder's Gate series does have a very good music score. I also remember well One Must Fall, to my recolection that had pretty good music. But it doesn't work on my PC anymore.

Oh I loved OMF2097, awesome fighter IMO.
The main games for me, soundtrack wise would be: Metal Slug 1 & 2 Dooms (although much of my favourite stuff was stolen) Duke Nukem 3d Blood 1 & 2 Descents 1 (midi) & 2 (CD) Starcraft Battlezone (I loved the orchestral stuff crossed with electronica in this game) |

Daggerfall music is nice, but sometimes it gets a bit overbearing on the game.
