Does anyone know if there is a website for downloading custom textures? I was thinking of starting one if there isn't already. I know there's a site that has all the DooM and Duke Nukem graphics, but I haven't found one for custom textures yet.

Yes, build it and we will cum.
I should have a couple of texture wads ready for you when the page is up, keep in touch. I dont have space for them on my server, those girly pictures are hogging it all. ------------------ Creator of 'The Mummy Phuquers' and 'Mystic' series of Doom wads. also creator of ANDYDM1.WAD (my favourite) MYSTICMEG IS CUMMING SOON http://www.gtroad.net |

It's strange this has never been done before, since the Doom textures are growing old and dont fit in most of the new advanced wads.

I don't really have that many textures either. That means we'll have to rely on other people sending in textures, which didn't work for that doomworld site.

I have some textures stored on my HD, X-Doom has also done a BIG texture pack (I think it's on his site).
Go for it anyway, at least we will have some textures to use . If you're not going to... I can do it. |

afterglow has loads of texture wads, I have downloaded almost all of them, also if you look around the ftp sites you will find texture wads from Gothicdm and a few others. On my Egyptian DooM page is a Mummy Phuquers texture wad but its a bit big and Im making a new (better and smaller) version to be released with the new 3D Mummy Phuquers very soon. I will also (very soon) be releasing a 'mystic' textures wad which I have been working on since the release of the original bunch of 'mystic' levels a couple of months back.
I am also working on some medieval textures and some urban style textures which I will be happy to share. ------------------ Creator of 'The Mummy Phuquers' and 'Mystic' series of Doom wads. also creator of ANDYDM1.WAD (my favourite) MYSTICMEG IS CUMMING SOON http://www.gtroad.net |

That wasn't a door texture and no bubblegum was used. Someone started an evil rumor!

Where are the textures? I found a few text files that mention massive *.gif files, but I can't find the gif's. ![]() |

I've almost finished a WADED freindly Quake2 texture set. As soon as I get off my ass and finish it, I'll post the download. Of if Looney's site is up it'll be there. But either way I'll post if for no other reason than to increase my post-count.

Erm... there's abot 40 megs worth of wads in there. That's a bit much for my 56k modem, as I couldn't extract the textures from the wads while they're on the server. I'll see if DooMGoaT can download them from his college (because I know I couldn't from my college - way to strict).
