I need deepsea. It's no longer an option. I need to have it.
You would not belive the crap I am going through in order to get it. Signing up with paypal for international credit card orders, farting about with credit cards, bugging poor looney with stupid questions (thanks ) screaming in frustration at the gay online signup form (We take one dollar from your account when you sign on blah blah balh and give it back when you sign on for balh balh and if you get competely fed up and give up the we keep the dolar balh blah blah), gazing in terror as the link they send comes up error and you don't know what to do next...Been there. Done it. Deepsea is almost within my grasp... all I have to do is wait for my next credit card stament and we're onto phase two... ------------------

Sorry, but I think Deepsea sucks. It's so bloody cluttered, they need to learn how to tone down the interface cause there is way more crap there that you need. More is better as long as it isn't all at once.
I'm sticking with my old fashioned low tech 5 editors. What every happened to simplicity? ------------------ Member of Team DEIM http://www.newdoom.com/teamdeim/ Check it out! I got wads... heh. |

Yeah. Deepsea has some mad stuff happening with it. Particularly with lump/resource manipulation. Wadauthor, however, just simply kicks it's ass all the way to hell and back when it comes to level construction though.

Zack, you should save all the levels you play with cool architecture or tricks so you can open them up with your editior and see how they did what they did. I learned a long time ago by doing just that.

Thats what I did too. Thanks to some help from Ferrari and him shareing some of his levels with me I was able to start doing my own levels. I know I need to learn more but that is some good advice Rellik mentioned The hardest part is finding the right editor for you.
