hrmmm what is this? A forum with no topics in the last 10 days? How absurd. Hi there Doom_Dude, just thought I'd drop in and say hello. Oh and I might have a good whine about how ICQ doesn't work whilst I'm here.
Can't get any of the bloody clients to connect to the bloody servers right now, and it's bloody pissing me off bloody hell. Anyways I'll be going now, I might go and blow up some innocent chickens. Cya!  ------------------ Life is Finite. Doom Hard.

ICQ blows ape shit! I have it installed (again) but I disabled that mutha fukka because it blows! Actually I'm just enjoying the peace and quit of the silent ICQ mutha....because my head can't handle all the messages! Damn messages! Too many messages! Hey, if Finite wants to blow up chickens, he should try Chook Doom. It's some crazy MOD done by an Aussie (I think). You get to kill chickens and you even get a crossbow that shoots them!! It's great for a laugh. I have no idea where to get it now, but you ought to be able to find it with a search engine.

I think I played that or a similar mod. You had a "chicken launcher" that fired explosive chickens. Pretty cool mod that

Okay now I'm confused. Is this "Chicken" mod jobby a thinghy where you shoot chickens or is it a mod that has a chicken launcher type o gun? Or do you shoot chickens with a gun that chucks chickens?

Actually Chook DooM didn't make much sense. You shot at giant chickens, but there were also chicken guns. There was a crossbow (stolen from Heretic) that shot chickens, and the rocket launcher shot eggs. Some of the other sprites were changed too. If I find that site again, I'll post the URL. It was great for a laugh. I actually found out about it from my father (who doesn't play DooM). I think some Aussie told him (chook is slang for chicken).

You can still get it! Just use Metacrawler and do a "phrase" search for "Chook Doom." The first couple of pages that come up are related to Chook DooM. They have weird URLs because they were made by amateurs, but they're cool. There may be more pages.
