Maybe you should rename this forum to Doom Dude's and Aliotroph's house.
The amount of time you pair spend in here. Get a life,  , then you can lend it to me at the weekends.

Hey D_D, my best friend and his brother always make fun of your site's name. I keep trying to explain to them that a megawad is simply a wad with lots of maps. Of course, you have to wonder about wad files anyway. They could have used a name less likely to be made fun of.

Gobs usually means 'lots' over here. There are gobs of food on the table. ETC.
The Doom WAD filename was conceived by Tom Hall before he left id. It stands for "Where's All the Data?"  That's a little something I picked up from the Doom Bible (5years.doomworld.com) |
