I'm messing with my MP3's. I had around 650 mb in a folder, ready to burn. So I figure I'll check out a couple more songs and drop them in and finally set it up to fry onto CD. So I decide that's enough cause I'm really anxious to get this CD made. I fire the final 2 MP3's into the folder then I check the size and its 666mb's. Hey I couldn't do that if I tried. Maybe I'm cursed afterall. If you don't hear from me again it's because my comp went up in flames and took me with it.

I see no significance whatsoever with that number. People always do though. When they got to 666MHz with computers they clocked them up to 667MHz so people would actually buy them. I don't understand how a simple number could possibly be good or bad.

I agree, it's stupid. The only reason bad things happen around such numbers is because people really believe they're bad and end up causing trouble themselves.

It's the direct opposite of that old saying, "God helps those who help themselves." Heh, that reminds me of the greatest little story (even though you've probably heard it somewhere):
One day there was a flood and a was up on the roof of his house to escape the rising water. When the water was up to his ankles a boat came by and he was told to climb in. The man replied, "God will save me" and the boat left. When the water was up to his middle another boat came by and once again the man insisted his faith in God would save him. Eventually the water was up to his neck and a third boat appeared. The man refused his rescuers again, saying God would save him. Finally the water rose obove his head and the man drowned. When he got to Heaven the man asked God, "why didn't you save me?" God replied, "I sent three boats to get you. Why didn't you get in one of them?" ------------------ "Killed Aliotroph?" - obituary from Perfect Dark |

That would be pointless cause nobody else would understand it. I always spew out crazy gibberish. Like this:
