GARH...there's something totally phucked with my V key!!! i hit it and it doesn't show the v until i hit it real hard or hold it down or something...grarr9

Meaning, from this sucky PC at school.

Hm to help you with your V problem, why dont you just have a pen with you, and if the V won't show up, just write the V on the screen?

HAhaha... the game takes strategy man. Don't expect to go out all doom-marine-like and live! You have to use you're team, slice the pie, use destractors like grenades and flash-bangs. It is hard, but damn cool.

Ya......its cool but I don't have the patience for all that lurking & strategy stuff which seemed overkill in Rainbow Six. I wanna come in with all guns blazing.

The only strategy game I liked was Battlezone and the only lurking game I played was Thief: The Dark Project.

hehe I get ya. I find it damn fun playing doom and running out with plasma spraying everywhere too. But then again I find it just as enjoyable to neatly place 3 10mm bullets into a terrorists head from above whilst crouching and leading over a balcony looking down the scopes of my silenced MP5, thus rescueing the hostages and preventing the building exploding. It takes planning, quick reflexes and good execution, and it's damn satisfying to do the mission well. I guess that's just me.

You make it sound like fun but somehow I never noticed whilst playing the start of the game because I got pissed off somehow.

I don't like stategy/shooter hybrids. They get boring after a while. I don't mind sniper games in the arcade, like "silent scope" but I still prefer action/shooters like "Area51". BANG BANG BANG BANG .... RELOAD..... BANG BANG .... RELOAD.....

Uh, what's this forum actually supposed to be about??? Megawads are cool. Doom is cool. Ports are cool. Why can't we talk about Dooom??? If you're making a Megawad, tell me what it is. I want to know. Cause if it's going to be detailed and hi-tech and full of killing, then I want it.
