Ok i have an old pos computer, and i cant play the cool new games like Q3 on the internet. So a friend told me about doom legacy, and i got all nostalgic and thought about the countless days, weeks, months i played doom 2 with friends over the modem or at lan parties.. so anyway i thought i would check it out.. i loaded the legacy patch, but i have the wrong versoin of doom 2 i need 1.9 So where do i go to get the id patch? and furthermore when i get it. Is there a website that hosts games?

Yes its Dwango.
And I'm running a P2 350! With a Radeon 64 MB VIVO and I get up to 70 FPS (max quality, 1152x864x32) with Quake3. That is, if I'm bored. But if I play with people it'll drop to 35 but still playable. ![]() But in a month or two I'm gonna give my PC a new mom and a new brain. 1 GHz Pentium 3, perhaps. |

GEEEEEZ a POS 333? i use a PII 350 as well, 96MB of ram, i get 40 FPS on Q2 in SOFTWARE... 640x480. there MUST be something wrong with that comp to make it do that, reformat it and reinstall windows fresh, that'll speed the sucker back up
