Here lately I've been working constantly, between the Doom64 TC, Dark Nexus Legacy, the two NewDoom projects, and much more non-Doom related. But that hasn't stopped me from working on something for people to have fun with in the mean while.
While working on Dark Nexus last night, I decided that I wanted to take one of the final space levels and turn it into a DM/Coop map. So, I now have a SP/DM/Coop map for everyone to use, escpecially on the beloved Doom Connector Like all my maps so far that Mr.Rocket, Rellik, Palladium, and Aliotroph? have played, it has new music and graphics. This is also my first time using Colored lighting in Legacy. I'm still figuring out FS, I imagine I'll be heading to Rellik's site in a few minutes for help on that. So, if you want this map, just post here and I'll be glad to email it to you! --------------------------------------------- Dark Nexus Update --------------------------------------------- Yeah, it's still in the works. Some time today I expect the first level from the JDoom version to be complete in the grand style of the Doom64 TC (more pics up here). A few hell levels are complete, and the great majority of the earlier 1-10 levels are either started or complete. As soon as given the chance I'm going to get a few levels from my old hard drive and start converting them. But as said above, to keep those who've seen my work so far from drooling all over yourself, I'm releasing DM wads in the meantime to satisfy your thirst for bloody kombat (hence Mortal Kombat, I spelled that purposly) satisfied. Later on today I'm going to start working on a new website which is NOT located at geoshitties to host my doom levels on and which will also be the main page for Dark Nexus. So, glue your eyes and dry your mouths, it's still coming... ------------------

.com that!
------------------ "Once in a while a programmer really writes something he's proud of, a slick, elegant, blazingly fast routine that stands as a benchmark against which other code will be judged by. However, this is not the case with TED's fill routine. This slow, stupid algorithm will casually fill one plane of data in a painfully creeping manner. Press ESC when it gets confused." - John Romero on TED (Tile EDitor) Aliotroph?.postCount++; |
