Alright Legacy fans, got two cool new additions for ya:
- All the stuff you need to know about changing the properties of corona's and dynamic light sources - Something I think you megawad folks will like: a tutorial on how to divide you're megawad into episodes like in DOOM, but using DOOM2. Actually the stuff in this tutorial could be used for loads of different applications but hey, somethings people gotta think up for themselves. I can't give away all my ideas. ![]() Enjoy! ------------------ Member of Team DEIM Webmaster The DOOM Editing Resource Team Deim.com is TEMPORARILY down. Heh, yeah it was the first thing that popped into my head. That and writing the tutorial and creating the example materials is very time consuming so I wasn't gonna go too crazy with the graphics.
![]() It's going to be interesting to see what kind of stuff people use this for. In my latest project this kind of system is used for navigating computers, activating complex stuff, unlocking doors with number combinations, etc... which is why I'd HUGELY appreciate it if the Legacy team repaired the HUD graphics FS stuff. It'd be a lot easier and a lot more sharp if I didn't have to make everything a wall texture, set up camera's etc etc. ------------------ Member of Team DEIM Webmaster The DOOM Editing Resource Team Deim.com is TEMPORARILY down. Wow, that's neat!
If they fix the HUD graphics stuff I'm going to script up a motion tracker like in those Aliens vs. Predator games. ![]() ------------------ Aliotroph?.postCount++; |
