I just had a idea on how to add the shadows that monsters cast upon the floor (wooooo... spooky!)
Just add a black dynamic light on the floor under the sprite. Is this a good idea or another utterly crap one? |

Well...that would look wierd. It would look cartoony and wierd. The right way to do it is turn down the gamma on a sprite and render it in thought of the lighting effects and monster \ frame cycle. But that would be hard. Maybe your idea is better :P

I've already tried that a few month ago, but it didn't look good. Will investigate a little more when I will be able to develop the gl version.
