I found Doom II at CompUSA for $10, but my mouse didn't work so I found jDooom. Awesome.
I installed it and everything seemed to work fine and I run full-screen fine with mouse and sound. But when I pressed [Tab] to bring up the map, I couldn't get the map to dismiss. The screen would flicker but I wouldn't go back to the first-person perspective. Direct X 8, Asus AGP-V3800D V1.00 32MB TNT Ultra. I run a huge 1600x1200 Win98 desktop but reduced the resolution in Doom II. Under Display Properties > Advanced > Advanced on the GL Tab are options to Enable buffer region extension (checked) and Turn off OpenGL VSync waiting (checked). I've never touched these... should I? I'll update this to give more info as I find it. Thanks in advance, how do I reward Jaakko Keränen for this wonderful piece of work? |

It seems to me that you have the wrong drivers for your graphic's card!
Do you use Detonator drivers? And the latest? ------------------ :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::::::::"Doom Legacy Wads" aka DLW::::::::::::::::::::::: ::Given that it's a gift, I expect nothing else than a pleasure smile:: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: |
