Hi, I'm new to all this OpenGL-ing and D3D-ing. I'm trying to get JDoom to work, but it complains I don't have accelerated OpenGL, although I quite obviously do since I can run Q3 and Half Life in OpenGL mode quite nicely (out of the box) thank you very much.
What basic (undocumented?) installation step am I missing? I've got a Dell laptop with an ATI Rage Mobility-P chipset. Any help greatly appreciated. |

Hmmm... answering my own question...
Well, I eventually tried various options under DLaunch. Turning on 16-bit seems to cure the problem, and it runs fine. (Maybe that's a good tip for other people?) Lovely program. Doom is still ace, and now it looks lovely, too. |
