Have you seen the guys who play our style of football? Most of them weigh a good 400 pounds. Of course they need a five minute break after ten seconds of running.

We have those over here too. There are two road courses in NASCAR (Watkins Glen and Sears Point), and they're generally the worst races of the season.
We Americans just enjoy going around in circles.

I can't really say that I agree with your politics, picklehammer, but I have to agree with your comments about music and literature. In my opinion, the Russians win those two categories. I suppose sooner or later, Big_Al will get to Russia...

That's just crap for the news. You can get anything on cable or satellite you could possibly want - protected by the constitution. The tight asses bitch a lot, but they are just a tiny fraction.
In fact, one of the cool things about the US (for kids) is that their parents are too busy so they "buy" stuff for their kids to keep them occupied. Such a neat life for kids. US has among the least censorship of any country in the world. In the state I live in (WA), the police actually have to CATCH you for traffic violations. Sadly, the damn European influence is coming over here though. There are many countries where they just mail you the ticket from a photo eh! Don't believe all the stuff you read
