The Revenge of President Bush

Monkey, PuppetMaster and myself are creating a new 12-level TC called "The Revenge Of President Bush" to offer those who want to vent there anger/grief against Bin Laden for Tuesdays horrible events.

This is the basic idea for the TC:

You play as President Bush and u decide something needs to be done about the acts of war commited by Bin Laden. You set out to afganistan to hunt the bastard out and erricated him to oblivion.

So far we have 3 ppl in the team:

Leader = Myself and sound editor
Lead Sprite and Texture Artist = PuppetMaster
Musician = Monkey
Mapper = Asmodeus

Any help with this TC we can get would be great, espeically mappers and artists! The existing members will decide who will be on it.

I already put forth the suggestion for a similar TC to the other memebers of Team DeiM earlier today. If the proposal is accepted by the other memebers of the team, then work on the "Bin Laden Must Die" TC will begin immediately, taking priority over all other projects. It is intended as a massive coop mod, with an emphasis on military strategy, rather than just a simple shooting gallery. An emphasis on making the mod difficult in a realistic fashion is also anticipated. This will make the game play more frustrating for players, but should make victory ultimately more satisfying.

Aside from that, I will not release any other details until I hear word from the other members of the team.

I have been getting some negative feed back from this. Please let me make my intentions understood, allow me that. :/ I feel very angry inside!
This is just a way to vent that anger. I was sickened by the attacks I saw on the TV against innocent American Moslem's, and do NOT condone those acts in way shape or form. There are many Moslem's that are backing the US and the World in this tragedy. This will be a Wad dealing with Terrorism and that is all!

If you all think that is such a bad idea I may re-think even doing it.

And my Computer is back up and running again. thanks to my experties, and Puppetmatser's moral support. YaY!... actually it was Puppet's idea to test the stuf on my system in the first place.

I suggest a way to remove the racist element would be playing as an Arab (or towel head as you say) against bad arabs.

Yes I agree 100% Doom_Dude. I did not want this to start a flame war... we have enough in this world to worry about, Don't you think there Mystic! "Open your mind to the horrors that are unfolding before your eyes."

Stphrz: You know I respect your opinon, and I have read them on this matter in other fourms. I will do my best to make sure this has a focus. And it will take us awhile to even get the first few levels done... We can stop making it, and scrap it any time..... I feel that I need to do this. If nothing else, for my own sanity.

I also meant to put in that last post...that not all arabs are terrorists. As far as this TC goes.....right now, I'm not sure if it's such a good idea. For now I'd rather not even think of such a thing.

Furthermore Mystic, its really not a very good idea to be slagging off the American president. I'm sure that after what has happened, that the Americans don't need to hear such remarks. Thier nerves are all on edge as are ours. Think next time.
