Q: What Does REoL Stand for?

I get asked this a lot, and I want to put this to rest in it's own topic, so I don't have to post it a few billion times.

In 1992, I didn't have a cool name to go by, and every name I came up with was taken (Killer, Death, Stalker, and the like). I couldn't do any better with anything, so I just used a simple, generic sign-off:

Resident Expert of Leominster

Nobody could have that one, and nobody did, so I went as that.
After posting a ton of messages, the whole thing was too tiresone to type out, so I decided to make an acronym for it:

REoL

Short for:

Resident
Expert
of
Leominster

Now you know why the "o" is small, and the R, E, and L are large.

I'll leave it up to you to figure out what "Leominster" is, since there's too many loonies in DooMworld wanting to find me (GOOD LUCK!)

I use BooM mostly, but I do have ZDooM.

I was just kidding anyways. It just seems around here we dislike Zdoom a tad bit more than other ports. Myselfs,im a Legacy kinda Monkey. Sence I can't run Joom in Win2k, it is the best port graphically and I like the options.

ZDooM does tend to do some strange things, like play at twice the normal speed (the frame rates goes up with it), or not work at all, but it is a nice port. I never upgraded to the latest version (I think I have 1.17 or something similar).
