They light the room to a level I call 'average doom lighting'. Beautiful little things. Sometimes you need pointless things. Perhaps a waste of money for someone with no laughter in their lives, but never a waste of time...
Yeah they have to get hot they work on convection. Apparently the ingredients in the best lava lamps is one of the worlds best kept industrial secrets.

I love my Lava Lamp! he he he I got mine for Christmas last year, and turn it on quite

Even I don't remember that one, but then again, I was really into video games back in the late '70's and so forth.

How about those wavy pattern things that use a strobe light to create some psychadelic images on a round disk? I see these things at Spencer's quite often.
