Volume problem
I checked the bugs list for volume issues but my problem seems to be bigger.
I can't seem to adjust the music volume at all, regardless of level (can't remember if the other volume is broken too). I just get error messages. Is this a bug or can I fix this? |

This used to be in the FAQ. Try starting your game up with the 'winmidi' parameter, ie. '-winmidi 3'
I think it defaults to 0. (I have to use -winmidi 4) |

Those options didn't work but -winmidi 2 did work. Also, using the other options, I didn't get any audio music at all.
If I want to use this parameter, can I do it using the launcher? Here's some info on my system's sound. Perhaps it'll be helpful in fixing the problem in the future: Abit NF-7 2.0 motherboard which has nForce2 audio. It's disabled right now though because I'm using a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card. right now. I'll try turning the nForce audio on and trying that instead to see if that works. Update: I just tried it with the nForce audio feature on my motherboard. The turtlebeach card is still installed but nForce audio is being used. Volume cannot be controlled if starting the game using the launcher. I was able to adjust audio using the -winmidi 1 parameter but no other number worked correctly. *nods in agreement*
It defaults to 0. Try 1,2,3,4,etc until you find the right one. I forget why legacy works like this, but this was explained in the FAQ page shortly before everything got deleted. I'd like to see this addressed in a future release, but first I'd like to see improved in-game multi and high resolution everything

Just put this in the FAQ Forum, is it alright as it is or should I add more?
