Alive and kicking, bastards!
Danimetal said: "fuck quitting" and I hear him.
We're setting up a new plan, me, Danimetal and AlysiumX that is. Hopefully we'll get some more activity, but we'll see. As always, we're open for new reviewers. However, here is the (way too) long awaited review issue. AlysiumX lost one review when he got into reformatting rage yesterday, so we mourn for the loss. More details at the review site. So here it is, the new year's special: NEWDOOM WAD REVIEWS #13 Discuss, flame and sign up as a reviewer! |

Glad to see this up finally. MY OMGPump2 wad got the same score as the original, guess thats a good thing. I'm guessing 7.5 is a good score since the highest yall have ever given is a 8.5. I'm glad to yall reviving this.

Thanks for the Void Space review, heh. Glad to see you're keeping this thing going.

Fun we only had like 150 views here... I guess the advertising campaign wasn´t strong enough (the advertising campaign simply... wasn´t) but I thrust next issues to have more boom and spam all over the forums
.As for being dead in Doom... You know DD, it´s only pressing the use key and respawning at the beginning of the level. Sometimes we´re burnt out and we just need some rest. Some other times you have to delete Morrowind from the HDD and wait for the summer to install it again. |

Hey, I'm surprised to see one of my levels. I admit I do tend to focus on looks rather than gameplay.

I would be willing to review a few maps from time to time-- granted you are still "hiring" for such a position. Sign me up. I'll get the details from FATAL in due time.

That's exceedingly cool. You're in. If you already have some wad in mind and you wished to write a review of it before we meet again on msn, just follow Danimetal's fine example, and you'll do fine. His reviews are horribly long, though, and at least I can't reach such fine quality all the time as he does.
Currently we have three regular reviewers: Me, Danimetal and AlysiumX. Anyone willing to join will be welcome, just as long as the reviews are longer than just a few lines. ![]() I've met some very nice maps lately. I'll write two or three ordinary reviews, and a few "mini reviews" I'm introducing in the next issue. Last edited by FATAL; January 9th, 2007 at 02:09 AM. |

. I usually do a lot of detail (though my maps look pretty bad) but, given that I am patient enough, also a lot of playtesting and gameplay cheking. My maps still play bad but I can say that I pay attention to gameplay .@Sigma: Excellent news!!!. Contact Fatal or me through mail or PM for details, we could get you templates and such .Also, people, if you didn't know, I'm a genious. Bigtime. I must admit that I have become discouraged with the utter crap that resides at the "idgames archive" and have taken it upon myself to review a few WAD-files downloaded from other sources. Assuming this is acceptable, I have then completed four reviews (a fifth review is pending-- at this juncture, I am not sure if I care to complete this fifth review).
I'll send them soon enough. |

As long as the wads are downloadable from some reliable source it is perfecly right
. Notice this is a Wad Reviews service and not an "Idgames-newstuff" digest. It would be nice if you review newly released wads and point out stuff to make them better (specially in case of novice authors) but you can even review your favourite wads of all time .Although I am busy at making love to myself while playing World of Warcraft, I managed to make this post! I'm sure my mom's proud of me! Last edited by FATAL; January 18th, 2007 at 08:44 AM. |

I wouldn't mind doing some reviews from time to time. I enjoy trying out new wads, no matter how.......whatever. And obviously, my reviews would be more than a few lines
.

![]() Heh, usually it's a bad idea to download wads less than 100KB, and even then most of the maps are rather bad. I've been very lucky lately, though, and I think I'll write a review or two next weekend. |
