Hey Guys. I'm a musician from South Florida and DooM is a childhood game. I've recently taken my music over to the video games realm by Covering DooM & Wolfenstein Game Themes and writing and recording my own works inspired by the games. I've started out with Wolf and DooM for now and eventually I'd like to create my own score for RAGE but first things first. Below is one of the songs I wrote inspired by DooM. Let me know what you guys think, I'd appreciate any feedback Good, bad and or extremely hateful http://forums.newdoom.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Thanks!

It's not bad but imo it could use a bit more, mainly some solo type metal screams etc. and the drums are way to basic at the moment.
I'd say if there was a bridge then it would lay ground for a short solo as well as good reason for at least some double drum snare+cymble pops and rolls.
Other than that I like it. ;)
Rage has already been released but you may be able to get with some of those guys for dlc content?
However I'm pretty sure they already have a lot on the side of music.
I like it so far, Good luck!

Thanks for taking the time to at least check it out. I need a drummer lol I program my drums but the program doesn't offer much. I want to do very faint Screaming and Growling in a few other songs but Mostly I was writing, intending it to be like BGM for the actual game so that's why I stayed away from complexity. and call me stupid but I don't understand the Rage comment HAHA! But like I said thanks again for at least taking the time to listen to it.

Rage as in the game that was just released about 2 weeks ago! :D
That's cool man, I currently don't have my drums mic'd or I'd fix up a track for ya. ;)
However what you have could use some work even with the basics of the the drums at the moment.
As it is, with what you have to work with, you could actually stop the drum rhythm in the middle of it and compose a bridge where a solo would kick in! Imho..
There's so many things that can be done with music, like a lot of things, even if it's a part with acoustic although I'm not suggesting that with the sound you are going with, you know what I mean.
Good stuff so far though man, keep up the good work! ;)

That's some rude flavour. I enjoy!
Maybe you wanna check out some of my dynamic remixes on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAXHzJ_WGmQ), I've added a video response to your video...
