View Full Version : Snowberry window not appearing

Hi all

When i open snowberry (deng-1.9.0-beta6.9-setup, which is the latest?), the taskbar toggle switch appears, but the actual frontend does not. This just started happening all of a sudden. I tried going back to the previous version, restarting, still no luck. Kickstart works. So whatever is preventing the program to draw or whatever, must be something specific the snowberry, like does it need silverlight, or could it be a problem with directx or something?

Good question, however I'v never experienced the problem. it could be a number of things but yeah that's the first thing I'd think also.

What o/s are you running? and service pack version?
I'm not sure if silverlight or .net would have anything to do with it or if admin privs need to be enabled before it will install or run correctly.
Are your video chip drivers up to date?

it's happen for me too. Just run as administrator lol.

Hey so ive got Win7, no service pack installed tho. Snowberry was working tho before anyway.. but i know its ideal to get the latest service pack, ill just have to wait a few weeks to get new data allowance from my ISP.

I updated my video card drivers, and tried running as admin, no luck.

After I fix the problem on my side, it's back again so I uninstall and reinstall an older version.
The problem was resolved by itself.
But it was remade a second time.
So I try everything until the window appeared. my configuration was clear and I had to reinstall. I then close the window and the problem is back again.
I really do not know what to do.
Please help me !

Same issue with Snowberry here.
Win7 Ultimate Sp1, 32bit
Latest video card drivers und latest Doomsday packet
Latest Silverlight is already installed for an other application.
