Where can I download Doom for Mac OS X? I don't need the .wad files because I already have a bunch of them. All I need are the core game files.
thanks in advance.

What product did you actually buy? There have been several releases, and it may well be that there are Mac files in some not-so-obvious locations on your disk(s).

Okay, I tried the Chex Quest disk and the Doom 2 disk and I coudn't get it to work with my iMac.
I also have the Mac version of Doom 3. I got it to install but I don't have the latest version of OS X (it requires OS X 10.3.8 and I have OS X 10.1.5) If I bought the latest version of OS X, would I be able to use my Doom2.wad file and any custom .wad files?

Hi guys, I wqas hoping some of you nice brainbox chaps could help me. Ive downloaded the doom iii demo from an irc and set the last line in runact.cfg to a comment, but when I run the main doom.exe and press tilde and enter exec runact.cfg, it starts to load everything but then the entire doom window disapears and thats as far as I get.
Does anyone have any ideas where I am going wrong or had any similar problems themselves? I would be very grateful for any help or advice you can give.
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers
