Men have discussed me in back rooms.
If the phone rings there's only dead breath.
In the bar across the street a snubnose
revolver has changed hands in the men`s room.
Each bullet has my name on it.
My name is written in back files
and looked up in newspaper morgues. (http://www.christiannewswire.com/news/186889387.html)
Sorry, I couldn't resist. But seriously, since when was Obama in cahoots with those cursed extremist atheists? :p
And while I'm at it, since when were we to be treated like terrorists? Where did this notion come from that we're some scary clan full of scary people who work with the government to ensure that those damn dirty theist peasants give up god or gfto? Isn't it generally the other way around?

lol He meets with a few atheists and they freak. How many atheists are in the American government? Maybe two? :D
It'll be nice when everybody else learns atheists need their religious freedom too. It'll probably be after we're dead. :/

Unfortunately we're involved enough with religion to need a say in the matter but not religious enough to actually get one.
There's a better chance of someone proving the existence of god than there is of atheists taking over the government. :p

Here in Brazil 10% of the government is atheist.
It isn't by any mean a big number, still it's a lot more then other countries.
Remember that back in the soviet Russia the government "state religion" was atheism.. (not really a religion but you get the point).

I think it's obvious that whether there are atheists or not in our government, no one would admit to it because it would be political suicide.
Also, I like this "Obamaphobia" term. I'm not sure which of the Obamaphobics or Obamaphiliacs are the worst.

I'd like to think the side that has less conspiracy theorist morons among them was better, but I'm pretty neutral on the subject and utterly clueless about anything concerning Obama, so what do I know? :p

Indeed they are good words, as is Obamagasm (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Obamagasm).

See that's all fine and dandy, but the thing that's keeping me at a distance is his refusal to really give details about anything, at least in his inaugural speach. He just says he's going to make it all ok, without saying how or when or for whom, he just says he will. Sounds a little familiar. *cachmf*

Obama's style of government is like the writing on the new Battlestar Galactica. It's very flexible and subject to change. He doesn't say specific things because half the time he has no idea what's going to happen. He wants us to trust in his style of doing things rather than specific sets of things (though he has given a few of those anyway). Whether this is good or bad I don't know. He's smarter than Bush, so that part makes me happy.

I suppose it's a good thing technically but it's hardly an achievement or even a hard improvement to make by any standards.

I dunno. The world is also full of elected guys like Chavez and Ahmadinejad who appear to be even more useless and belligerent.

Chavez is not useless.

Yes he is. He'll never amount to more than an oil-fueled despot.

He was elected. Also he's serious about helping the poor in Venezuela.

So was Hitler.

I do not think that Hitler had much to do with helping the poor in Venezuela!
