I noticed a few times while playing Risen3d 2.2.03 that sometimes a monster will walk close to an edge of a wall to fall down, or it jumped off on purpose. is this some type of new Ai behavior?. while playing Remain1 wad, map4 i think a secret door opened full of demons and 1 walked right to the ledge and walked off and fell, or jumped.

I think you are referring to the monsters in Hell on Egypt ? Next to a ledge is a small 3D floor. The monters "think" they can walk on this but fall through, giving the illusion you describe.

I just played through remain1 map 4 with no problems

ok, Requiem map 6 when you cross over to the other side and meet the Baron, aand a shotgun guy on a ledge above you. first the Baron jumped off, then the shotgun guy. I thought it was the kewlest thing that ever happened to me in Doom. but yea, they jumped off the wall and made a be line right to me!. so, I know i wasn't imagining things, or that this was a random event, the monsters are actively jumping off certain walls and chasing me...anyway lots of fun!

I like the walk-off-the-edge effect, actually. I saw it on a YouTube video (forgot which source port it was for Doom, though I think it was Skulltag) and was like "Awesome! Now I don't have to go up there after them only to have my asscheeks blown off by surprise monsters!" :v
