Hello? Anyone there? looking a little bit lonely here

anyways, I played DSV4 by Samuel Villareal and it's amazing. The most colorful Doom Legacy wad I've seen in a long time. The imp, pain elemental, lost soul, that bulldog like thing and the dead sargeant are all replaced by hand-drawn versions of same. Kinda neat looking. There are no new weapons, but the environment is frankly-gorgeous.
But-it's hard. I played it on ultraviolent and 1 wrong move later, I was imp chow
I recommend playing it (it's for Doom Legacy)

Yeah sorry. You're 6 years too late. :p Besides that, Kaiser used to be a regular around these parts back then so we all knew when something was going on release. :D

And just an FYI, the monsters sprites and level textures are taken from DooM 64. ;)

But yes, it's a good wad. He made a fair few of those for Legacy. :)

to quote Homer Simpson

D'oh !
still...there's hasn't been much for Doom Legacy recently. It's like the community has gone into hibernation, or something

I think everyone put their projects on hold, waiting anxiously to see what new features Legacy 2 will add. I know thats why I stopped mapping.
That was a long time ago and Ive recently gave up waiting for Legacy 2 and have been mapping a fair bit. Unfortunately Im not up to my old mapping speed just yet but I do have a few maps in the works.

I dont remember DSV4, I should give it a spin.
