Last time I checked, when you drive drunk, and you wind up killing someone (or multiple people), aren't drivers like that condemned, and ridiculed for life?
So, why does Ted Kennedy get treated like a GOD?
-=LINK=- (http://www.ytedk.com) Way back when (July 19'th, 1969), Teddy was driving drunk, with girlfriend in the passenger seat. He drives to Chapaquiddick and goes off the bridge, inot the lake, and swims to shore, walking away from the woman trapped in his Oldsmobile. She died from suffication.
Since his last name is Kennedy, and the brother of the slain JFK, I guess it's a free pass for him, because he's in power (State Represenitive, even then).
Still, the Brain Cancer thing is awful, but I don't think we should celebrate the life of someone who took the life of another person through stupid wrecklessness. After all, if anyone else did the same thing, they'd be thrown in prison for the rest of their life.
Some actually say the Teddy's cancer is "...getting what he deserved." (from a listener of a radio show I listen to, in fact, miltiple people said it.) I think that's much, but I think he needs to suffer some other way, how, not sure.
MORAL: If you're a popular celebrity (in this case, a politician), you can do what you want, and get away with it, or get a less-than-puny sentince, and the rest of us get thrown in jail, and they throw away the key (in this case, what should've happened).
