Hey guys,

What have you been reading lately? What will you read next? *cachap*

This is what's in my list:

Currently: Atlantis - Dave Gibbins

Next: Chapterhouse: Dune - Frank Herbert

Eventually: The Legends of Dune Trilogy (The Butlerian Jihad, The Machine Crusade and The Battle of Corrin) - Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson

Except for Atlantis, all others are actually English copies, as there are no Brasilian copies avaliable of them (even though Chapterhouse was released here at some point).

YES, I love the DUNE Universe. And I cannot lie. *cackew*

I finished reading Grand Theft Childhood a couple of days ago, and have resumed reading the Forgotten Realms books.

Right now I'm reading A Room With A View and frankly I'm finding it pretty terrible.

Next? Whatever strikes my fancy in this thread.

Right now I'm reading The Three Musketeers by Dumas. I'm enjoying it. I don't know about next.

I was thinking about starting a thread like this. Glad you went ahead and made on Falci. :D

I just finished reading High Druid Of Shannara - Jarka Ruus and started the 2nd novel in the trilogy High Druid of Shannara - Tanequil.... all by Terry Brooks of course. So far I'm liking it very much.

Stalker. Fancy stroken.

I've just recently read Slaughterhouse 5, and liked it very much.

Finished reading 'Brave New World', quite a good sci-fi book despite being written in 1931. Reading 'Plea of Insanity' now, interesting crime fiction.

Getting my fix of H.P. Lovecraft again. :D I'm reading through omnibus 3.

I decided to read "To kill a Mockingbird". Was a bit sceptical after I heard that librarians rated it as one of the best books of the 20th century. I must admit, it was a very good read, although not in the genre that I normally read. Also read all the Rama and Space Odyssey books again. Thoroughly enjoyed them. I actually wish they'd make a FPS Rama game.

Currently I'm reading "Stranger in a strange land". The original uncut edition. So far so good.

If I may ask. How's everyone reading their books these days? Actual books or Ebooks etc.? People find this weird, but about the last 10 books I've read, I read on my cellphone. You can resize the text, it saves bookmarks automatically and best of all, you can read in total darkness. Probably not too good on the eyes, but I find it very comfortable.

I like to read on my computer, as it's a lot more comfortable. With a book I always get some places sore.

Usually when I want to read, I get the fuck off the computer and stretch out on the couch with a paperback. Very comfy and there's no distractions. Sometimes when I'm watching the TV, I'll read during the commercials.

I finished A Confederacy of Dunces (http://www.stroz.net/2008/05/07/a-confederacy-of-dunces-book-review/), which was AMAZING. I also just recently finished "Snow Crash" (yet another amazing book), which I will post a review on when I get a chance.

I just started reading "The Universe in a Single Atom" by the Dalai Lama. It's a very scientific and deep read, so I've been switching between that and "Stranger in a Strange Land" by Heinlein.

My wife has been working 8am - 6pm lately, so by the time we have our son in bed and get settled in, it's 9pm. She usually zonks out, and I end up staying up and reading. I get the most reading done in my day from 10pm - 1am, and all in bed.

I read on my bed. Unfortunately, I tend to fall asleep often. But I do manage to read though.

Over the past few months, I've gotten to read a lot more because my wife is working out of the home. I've decided that I need to get organized about what I'm going to read. If I get a chance when I get home, I'll take a picture of my "to read" bookshelf, so you can see what is on tap for me :)
