I got busy again on my project and added some insects in together with some new weapon system and recorded a video... I've also changed the project name into Cold Reality Heat. It was previously just Cold Heat.

The new weapon system works like this:
There's two attack buttons, one for left arm and another for right arm. Both arms can have whatever weapon the player wants to have, if the weapon can be used single handedly (currently I don't have any two handed weapons in). The weapons can fire simultaneously or only use one of them.

Selecting the weapons is still quite like press the number keys to select a weapon, but there's one additional key: the weapon change arm key. It changes the arm in which the new weapon will be selected.

Originally I wanted a menu/inventory screen, but right now I don't have time to do that. Because I need to have something ready for release on next thursday. Huh!

pwned

Judging by the hud this is a Quake mod?

The graphics seemed a bit too advanced, though, but that could be source port stuff, no?

Yeah, it doesn't look like Doomsday or Risen3d which as far as I know are the only Doom ports with HUD model support, so with the HUD and console, Quake is the best guess. :P

Looks very nice. Just needs nice level design. What editor are you using? QuArK? One of these days I need to pick that level editor up. I hear it is quite different from the old Worldcrafter that Valve had created for Half Life when it was still pretty close to the original Quake source.

Either try QuarK or BSP.. I'm messing with BSP myself but haven't touched it much beyond installation. :p

That demo looked like Quake 2 to me until I saw the Quake 1 hud.....

Thanks all :)

It's Quake1/DarkPlaces engine...

I've been using GtkRadiant. It feels allright to me. Earlier I've used WorldCraft with Half-Life.

Well, I got some little one map demo thing ready today... Later today I heard my teacher say the deadline for the school final work has been moved to 16th may.. Great news for me, I can polish it better and make some another map and have more than two weapons.

I'll have to think if I want to release this small demo or wait until 16th and release some bigger demo...

The games looks good. It would be better also if you can share the games to us once you release it.

Daaang. You have a talent. The level design is kind of dull and Doomy, but otherwise this looks really intense and has a unique feel.
