Bit of shameless advertising going on here.
You might remember a little while ago, I had a site, Doom 3 Unlimited, I shut it down due to lack of interest in the Doom 3 video game after launch (went from about 500 unique views a day, to 5). I have since created a new site, about PC Gaming.
I have also just uploaded a download system for users to host their game-related files on; if you're an author of a WAD, or a TC, or anything Doom related, you can register an account, and upload it to the correct area! Guests will be able to download the files; you only need an account to create an entry.
Thanks. :)

Sounds good. Apparently nobody has used the upload dealie yet...

Yeah, that surprised me a bit; I was expecting people to be swarming up and uploading their files - after all, it's free hosting.
Weird.

I'll upload the 16 sector contest package there!
Err, I really couldn't figure out how to upload files. Help please?

Sure thing.
Browse to the correct folder - EG: PC Games -> Doom 3 -> Maps, and at the top of the content page you will see the following:
SOBI2 Search Add Entry
Click on Add Entry, and then fill out the form like normal. Select 'upload files' and browse to the file you want to upload. Select it, and press ok. This will attach the file to the webpage.
Selecting a category is pretty straight-forward.
I hope I've helped. Glad to see the mapping community are somewhat interested in my free-download system.

I couldn't create a new category for the zip, and I'm not sure if the upload worked. I did run it through, but nothing appears in the folder I uploaded the file to (Just PC games folder).

It needed verifying by an administrator; I accepted it, and placed it in the Classic Doom subfolder.

Alright. However, I suggest that you put all this in some readme or FAQ or such, so those interested could upload their own files without any hassle, too.
