Yeah, how'd he get near 3000 posts in a matter of days? At my peak-posting rate in 2002 or early 2003 that would have taken me at least a month. lol

Not that he deserved it, but I was able to retrieve his old posts from back in the day.
It wasn't easy (it was tedious as you can imagine), but as an experiment I wanted to see if it was possible to go into the actual database (not the admin) and make the necessary changes that way.
If I can find a better way to do it, to find/replace mass cells (the userid's got set to 0 somehow and were therefore "lost") without having to do each one by hand, maybe I can get Doom_Dude's 10,000 or so spammy posts back to him ;)
