Does anyone know of a freeware utility that will capture video from multiple webcams at the same time, and synchronize the cams such that frame 1 from cam 1, frame 1 or cam 2, et cetera, all start at the same time?
(I'm broke, so don't even dare to suggest anything that costs money.)

There are security cam systems that will do just that. There maybe some software with a 30-60 day trial out there.
Other than that, you get what you pay for. ie some computer and electronic stores carry a whole package with 4 cams and software but you'l be looking at about $300 in price range.
You might find something for free but hard telling if it will work heh, mainly because the software is a kind of dvi emulation, which will also come with client/server and drivers.
If there is a "free software package" out there, let me know too.

I'm sensing that Boingo wants to make stereoscopic videos?

Shareware is okay, but freeware is many times better when you literally have no budget to work with. Thanks for the suggestion though.
