A few of us are going to try to get together and try it out tomorrow and we'll give you some feedback afterward. :)

You really tested with Edge? *winky*
Well I just gave it a go, with some Deathbots.
Looks really good!
Lots of different paths and height variation.

I think the sky could be better, the outside areas are quite bright which doesn't match the night sky (imo). Perhaps something bright yellow or red?

Thanks Ajapted, and yeah I know what you mean, but I sort of try to stay away from bright skys because depending on the sourceport, in opengl bright backgrounds/bright skys tend to bleed through the vertices sometimes.
I agree though, it's not specifically a realistic type of map either, so let's just say it's dusk out, with a really low moon time of year where it's reflecting off a body of water somewhere haha :D
But yeah, I tested it out in Edge also ;), a bunch of different engines really.

Also, ok cool thanks Nomad. ;)

Ok, we played one 30 frag match just a little bit ago (I won by a landslide, but I'm sure if the other folks' pings weren't in the 200s, they would have been a lot closer to me :P ).

The biggest problem I have with the map is that most of the stairs are so steep. But at the same time it's pretty fun to fly off of them and whip around to fill a pursuer with buckshot. The teleporters are set up pretty well for telefrags--and I like that the plasma rifle platform has a good view for the teleporter that leads to it, so you can gank people as they come through if you notice them chasing you as you come through.

I haven't played many DM maps for Doom, so I wouldn't really have any scale to compare it to, but I suppose overall I would give it a three or four out of five pentagrams.

Asshole.

ANYWAY. The map is pretty fun. I enjoyed playing it and the lighting and layout [most important parts!] are well done. The weapons are well placed and the rocket launcher can actually do some damage, not like in a lot of DM maps. I would have had more fun if I wasn't pinging in the 200s. D:

Very cool, thanks for playing it and thanks for the feedback guys, I'm glad you liked it, even if some of you did have a 200 ping heh
Maybe next time the pings will be better? ~ Do I smell a re-match? :D

Well I don't much bother playing Skulltag with a high ping... I can play 200 ping in some games fine but that in Skulltag seems more like 1000. Weird. And no I didn't get to play with it this morning (I sleep in the morning :p).

But I did play it for a bit over LAN yesterday, and I have to say its quite fun. Nice layout and not a lot of spots for people to camp or otherwise be generally annoying (always a good thing).
